Prize Arsenal

Academic Chess believes in prizes. We believe that if a child deserves and wins a chess prize, and it is presented in the right way, he/she will cherish it forever

In our after school program, we try to give out prizes for a wide variety of reasons so many different kids win many different prizes. (see dealing with winning and losing).

At tournaments we have useful chess equipment for the champion kids who perhaps have already won too many trophies!

We have lots of prizes in our prize arsenal to give out at our after school program and tournaments.

Generally if your child has already won a trophy, or does not want a trophy, you can trade the trophy for a nice chess prize!
